About Me
Sandra Slowley
From coordinating live incident responses in the Main Operations Centre at the London Olympic Games, to managing the diaries of COOs during a national pandemic response, I've long been the calm, capable person behind the scenes — and now I'm here to help solopreneurs like you get their time back.

Here's my background, in short:
From coordinating live incident responses in the Main Operations Centre at the London Olympic Games, to managing the diaries of COOs at the Department of Health and Social Care during the pandemic, I've long been the calm, capable person behind the scenes — and now I'm here to help solopreneurs like you get their time back.
My experience spans supporting CEOs, Managing Directors, and senior public sector executives through high-pressure, high-stakes environments — heavy diaries, packed inboxes, sensitive stakeholder relationships, and situations where things absolutely could not fall through the cracks. I began building my own Personal & Virtual Assistant practice alongside senior EA and operations roles, before bringing that experience fully into my own practice.
I've worked inside genuinely high-stakes environments, from Olympic Games operations to government PPE procurement during Covid, legal, and corporate services — so a busy solopreneur's inbox and diary is well within my comfort zone. During the Olympics, I worked within the Main Operations Centre, ensuring urgent purchase requests — for things like security or infrastructure issues — were properly authorised by the right person at the right level, with accurate paperwork, often chasing senior managers to sign off quickly so nothing was delayed.
I also bring genuine steadiness to people, not just processes. Having guided people through tense, high-anxiety situations by listening carefully and making sure communication stayed calm and considerate, I bring that same care to everyday client relationships.
What I actually do for clients:
-
Manage diaries, inboxes, and correspondence with real discretion — protecting your time and priorities, not just filling your calendar.
-
Act as your first point of contact for clients, so people feel looked after even when you're not the one replying.
-
Oversee projects end-to-end, balancing ease of use with the safe handling of sensitive data.
Along the way, I've also:
-
Built admin workflows, databases, and compliance processes from scratch for start-ups and independent business owners.
-
Designed and coordinated branded social media content to keep an organisation's online presence consistent.
-
Led a full website content and visual overhaul for a client programme that measurably improved participant engagement.
This is for you if:
-
You need someone who can take ownership of the messy behind-the-scenes stuff without needing everything spelled out.
-
You want a point of contact your clients or audience will genuinely warm to.
-
You're ready to hand over your diary, inbox, or social media and trust it's being handled properly.
